I am in LA and my friend of many years, Philip B., and his husband Michael, offered me a safe haven to rest in. Now I could have stayed in a hotel - there was one a block away from his house - but how do you turn down staying in a house that is saturated with Philip B. products?This is on my mind as I write this blog because I just got out of THE MOST amazing shower ever! Imagine being a beer lover and going into a bar where you can try every beer on tap for FREE! Or loving strawberries and freely wandering a strawberry patch with the owner's permission.
Well that was my shower!
Philip B. body washes (chocolate milk body wash & bubble bath, thai tea mind & body wash, chai latte soul & body), Philip B. shampoos (Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo, WhiteTruffle Shampoo, and Oud Royal Forever Shine Shampoo), AND conditioners to match! My hair went into a ravenous shock! I wanted to try them all at the same time! (But of course that would be a waste...wouldn't it?)
Ah what the heck - I did it anyway!
The smell, the silky feel, the thought that Steven Spielberg and Charlize Theron use the same truffle shampoo - that mere mortals like myself get to try this fabulous concoction - left me giddy. I've seen Philip B. style all the editors of every magazine all over the world: I've seen frizzy ends and curly messes become sleek, shining, and gorgeous. I've seen timid, shy women on the way to meetings with new boyfriends who turned into confident and sexy goddesses at the touch of Philip B.
I normally wash with my own raw shampoo but I wanted to see what all these editors are raving about in their magazines. And truthfully, I thought that they all got those results because he had the magic touch - not so. I mean, well, yes, he does have the magic touch of course! I'd be remiss to say otherwise!
But shhhhhh, I was able to do that (just about) with my curly, crazy hair on a rainy day in LA.Right now my hair feels silky shiny and gorgeous. Thanks, Philip B., for my gorgeous mane of locks that I will now sport to all my meetings in LA! I feel like a gorgeous sexy goddess, too!
