I get asked a lot about soy sauce. In my opinion they should call it wheat sauce, because the first ingredient in common soy sauce is wheat! I couldn’t ever find a good soy sauce recipe, but I’ve finally found one and it’s complete raw and mushrooms are the main ingredient!
- 1 large portobello mushroom
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cups water
- Add portobello mushroom to the blender with 1 tablespoon salt
- Add a half a cup water in the beginning
- Add the remaining 1 ½ cups as you’re blending
- Some people like to strain it
