Most fruit smoothies have way, way too much sugar in them! So, this is a healthy, “Carol Alt” version for that hot summer day! This smoothie is a meal in cup, because it’s so much more than just sugar and fruit; it has staying power from the chia seeds and almond butter! You’ll stay full longer, which will help you if you’re trying to lose weight or stay ageless! ;)
- 1 rip banana
- ¼ of a cup of water
- 8 blackberries
- 8 raspberries
- 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds (ground or whole)
- 1 tablespoon full of almond butter
- Put all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth, or desired consistency.
- Serve and drink right away!
