Fireman and policeman’s widow and children fund

I cannot think of a better cause than the Fireman and Policeman’s Widow and Children Fund. This fund takes care of the widows and children of Policemen or Firemen who have been killed in the line of duty for any reason. These unsung civil servants are the backbone of our nation. My dad was a fire chief in the South Bronx and it really takes a special kind of person to become a fire or police -man! In this photo, all these beautiful people were giving their time to raise awareness to this great cause! Mark Messier& Rusty Staab were there- and very involved in this cause. I actually think Rusty started this Fund! Go Rusty!
