I never thought when I started the Raw Essentials line that I would see the day that we launched in retail stores. This day was a big deal for me as a little business owner because we launched at Duane Reade in NYC!!! My partners and I worked so hard for this day to come and believe me, there were days when I didn’t believe it would happen!
In this climate of economic uncertainty and where the government does not support small business, this launch was a minor miracle. I just want to take a minute to thank everyone who came out to support me and the rest of us. I want to thank Peggy, Marie, Susan, Carmen, Carol, Olexa, Irina, Usha, Christina,Tom, Barry, Josh, Steven, Anne, AnnMarie, and the hundreds of women who came from their offices on their breaks (who took breaks even when they didn’t have one) to come say “hi” and graciously accepted our Skin Care samples.
Raw Essentials is an upstart. We are flying in the face of big time Skin Care companies who want to keep selling you chemical laden productsmso that the results you get keep you tied to them. To me, these are not true results if you cannot maintain them without chemicals.
I am doing something so different that we are threatening these companies. I am creating food for your skin. The more your skin is fed, the better your skin will look without chemicals.
I can honestly say, that I would do whatever it takes to keep my skin looking young. Having a boyfriend 13 years younger than I am is a reality check every morning when I wake up. The big thing is that I am trying to keep my skin young looking by not lifting it. First of all, my dermatologist said that my skin is too thin to lift (CAN IMAGINE THAT?!) I can never get a face lift!! My boyfriend sees EVERYTHING! He is against anything artificial. He shakes his head at the girls who inject their lips and lift their breasts. (yeah, I know, that is limiting to have a boyfriend who hates that women have work done on their faces).The good thing about that limitation is it led me to look for a way to keep my skin tight, firm, and elastic without lifting it. Raw Essentials is the only way, I have found, to do this. Turning fifty is tough on any woman, but tougher on a woman who makes her living on her face (not to belittle any woman who keeps herself up and looking good). It is important for every woman to maintain. I see women desperate for results and are confused. This confusion causes them to jump from skin care to skin care, from chemical to chemical because they are not getting the promised results.
I am a walking result. I am 50 and I use my skin care. I cannot get a lift. I have tried lasers – $3000.00 later and I have not gotten results from lasers. Sorry ladies. You can inject big lumps into your face, (which quite frankly I have seen too many women do) and they actually seem to look older. Maybe it is the suggestion that if you need to inject, then you are old? Not sure.
Anyway, I have been quietly using my Skin Care and only my Skin Care since I was about 40 years old. I cannot touch anything else, I will not touch anything else. I throw the dare out to all you ladies: get the glow with Raw Essentials!!
